Old Muscats

My favourite wine is Old Muscat. It is so rich that it really does not need any food to accompany it, it is the food and drink alike.

My dream is to truly make a positive impact. I want to spread cheer to the people whose paths in live cross mine. I want to try and make their lives easier, and help them live their life to the fullest of their abilities. I want to help create a better planet for the generations to come, so I share my knowledge and lessons I have learned in life. When we share, we grow, and we enrich our lives. I want to make the winemaking industry more sustainable. One of the best parts of my job is to be close to nature, so it is imperative to take care of our planet.

I Love A Challange

Our job as winemakers is innovative, complex, and challenging. Taking out 12 per cent of a component (the alcohol) and keep the integrity of the product is difficult. I know how important it is to have access to alcohol free wine for a varied range of people and situations. I believe that is what inclusion is all about. To be able to present a product suitable for everyone. To appreciate the uniqueness in everyone, no matter the colour of their skin, their abilities, their age, or their culture.

I came into the winemaking industry as a trainee, keen to learn everything there is to know about the winemaking process. I was thrilled when I was asked to stay on, and the journey has been an exciting one ever since. I love the creating part of winemaking, and, of course, the tasting!
